Trying to find a Texas artist with similar style

Any Texas based tattoo artists/shops similar to this style? Been looking around but I’m having trouble, it’s my first tattoo been planning it awhile but I’ve yet to find an artist. I adore the style of @she_is on insta. The tattoo is being designed based off of this style. Here’s some references of her lovely work as well as the work in progress design of the tattoo. If it’s helpful in any way the tattoo is based on the band The Veils, their songs Not Yet and One Night On Earth have the vibes I really enjoy and I’m trying to convey a bit of that in the tattoo. Not expecting to find the exact style, closest I’ve found so far is Moon Tattoo.

I remember a different ending of Hereditary.

I watched Hereditary for the second time with my wife and I don’t remember this ending. I watched it for the first time on some streaming service a while ago, my wife and I were drinking pretty heavily and she fell asleep leaving me to watch it by myself. I was extremely creeped out by watching it on my own. I remember the ending being with Peter entering the treehouse and after looking around, the sculpture starts moving extremely creepily like towards Peter until he is holding him. Then Joan starts saying the stuff at the end. I remember it because it was so creepy to me how they made the sculpture look and move. It was unnerving. I distinctly remember the sculpture moving. I watched it again today with my wife so she could actually finish it and none of that happened. Does anyone else have a similar memory or is this just my own Mandela effect?

Why Rat Extermination Is Crucial for Commercial Spaces

Why Rat Extermination Is Crucial for Commercial Spaces

Rats may seem like small, harmless creatures, but their presence in a business setting can have a huge negative impact. Here's why you should prioritize [rat extermination](https://ampmexterminator.com/rat-pest-control-seattle-wa/) in commercial spaces: # 1. Health Hazards Rats are known to carry diseases that can affect humans. They can spread bacteria and viruses through their droppings, urine, and saliva. Some of the illnesses associated with rats include: * **Leptospirosis**: A bacterial disease that can cause liver and kidney damage. * **Salmonella**: Often transmitted through food contaminated by rat droppings or urine. * **Hantavirus**: A dangerous virus that can cause respiratory issues in humans. If rats gain access to food supplies, they can quickly contaminate them, putting your customers and employees at risk. # 2. Property Damage Rats have sharp teeth and can chew through almost anything, including electrical wires, insulation, and even pipes. Their chewing can lead to: * Short circuits or fires caused by damaged wiring * Leaks and water damage from chewed pipes * Structural damage to buildings as they create nests in walls and ceilings A rat infestation can quickly lead to expensive repairs that might have been avoided with early intervention. # 3. Legal and Regulatory Issues Certain industries, like foodservice and healthcare, are subject to strict sanitation and safety regulations. A rat infestation can result in: * **Health inspections**: Health inspectors may conduct unannounced visits, and if rats are discovered, you could face penalties or even closure. * **Damage to your reputation**: Word-of-mouth and online reviews can seriously damage your brand if customers see or hear about pest problems in your business. Ensuring your commercial space is free of rats is essential to avoid legal trouble and maintain customer trust. # How Professional Exterminators Can Help with Rat Control While DIY pest control methods may seem like a cost-effective option, dealing with rats in commercial spaces requires professional intervention. Professional exterminators have the knowledge, tools, and experience to effectively eliminate rats and prevent future infestations. Here's how they can help: # 1. Comprehensive Inspection and Assessment An experienced exterminator will conduct a thorough inspection of your commercial space to identify signs of rat activity, including droppings, nesting areas, and entry points. They will assess the extent of the infestation and recommend the most effective course of action. # 2. Customized Extermination Plans Each business is unique, and so are its pest problems. Professional exterminators develop customized treatment plans based on the specific needs of your commercial property. This may include: * **Trapping**: Using specialized traps to capture rats. * **Baiting**: Strategically placing bait to eliminate the rats. * **Rodenticide**: In some cases, rodenticides may be necessary to control the infestation. The plan will be tailored to minimize the impact on your business operations while ensuring effective rat removal. # 3. Prevention and Exclusion Once rats have been removed, the key to long-term success is preventing future infestations. Professional pest control services include preventative measures such as: * **Sealing entry points**: Closing gaps, cracks, and holes where rats may enter the building. * **Proper waste management**: Advising on how to store food and waste to minimize attraction to rats. * **Ongoing monitoring**: Setting up monitoring systems and conducting regular checks to ensure rats don’t return. These preventive measures help you maintain a rat-free environment for the long haul. # Benefits of Professional Commercial Pest Control Services Hiring a commercial pest control service to handle rat extermination offers numerous benefits, including: # 1. Expertise and Experience Exterminators are trained to understand rat behavior and know how to effectively handle infestations. They use safe and efficient methods to deal with rats, ensuring that your business is protected. # 2. Time and Cost Savings While it may seem tempting to handle pest control yourself, the reality is that it often takes more time and effort than expected. DIY methods rarely provide a long-term solution. Professional services not only save you time but also help prevent costly repairs down the road due to damage caused by rats. # 3. Safety Rat poisons and traps can be dangerous, especially if you're dealing with a large infestation. Exterminators use safe techniques and products that minimize risk to your employees, customers, and pets. They are also equipped with the proper tools to handle the job safely and effectively. # 4. Peace of Mind Knowing that professionals are handling the issue means you can focus on running your business without the constant worry of pests. You’ll have peace of mind knowing that your space is safe, clean, and protected from future infestations. # Common Commercial Spaces That Benefit from Rat Extermination Services Certain types of businesses are more likely to experience rat infestations due to factors like food availability and the layout of the property. Here are some of the most common commercial spaces that benefit from professional rat control services: # 1. Restaurants and Cafes Restaurants, cafes, and foodservice businesses are prime targets for rats, as they provide easy access to food and water. Rats in the kitchen can contaminate food supplies and damage equipment, leading to health violations and a loss of customer trust. # 2. Warehouses and Storage Facilities Warehouses and storage facilities often have large, open spaces that make it easier for rats to hide and breed. Without proper pest control, these spaces can quickly become infested, especially if there are gaps in the structure. # 3. Hospitals and Healthcare Facilities Health and safety are paramount in healthcare settings. Rats in hospitals or clinics can pose a serious threat to patient well-being. Professional pest control services help ensure that these facilities remain free from pests. # 4. Offices and Commercial Buildings While not as common as other spaces, offices and commercial buildings can still experience rat problems, particularly if there are food waste or structural issues. Regular pest control inspections are essential to prevent rats from invading. # The Importance of Professional Rat Extermination Services Rats in commercial spaces are more than just an inconvenience—they can jeopardize the health and safety of your employees and customers, cause significant property damage, and result in legal problems for your business. Hiring professional rat exterminators ensures that your business is protected from the risks associated with rodent infestations. By investing in expert pest control services, you can rest assured that your commercial space will be free from rats and other pests, allowing you to focus on running your business with confidence. A proactive approach to pest control is key to maintaining a safe, clean, and pest-free environment for your employees, customers, and reputation. If you're experiencing rat problems in your commercial space, it's time to take action. Contact a trusted pest control service today to schedule an inspection and get started on the path to a pest-free business!

911 call

Hi! So, today I had to call 911 for my little brother since he passed out and got really hurt by the fall. What happened was that, he freaked out once he woke up (completely normal obviously) but I was the one making that call, and the 911 dispatcher asked me his medical history. I told her, and, since one psychiatrist once told my parents my brother is autistic (not officially diagnosed by any exams tho) and they passed me that information in previous convos, I thought it was necessary to said that as well since he was having anxiety and all, and the doctors should know, I just wantet that, if he had any panic attack, that they had this info. When my parents and my brother arrived from the hospital, my mother gave me a "lecture" that I should not have said that. She grabbed the fact that it was an "unofficial" diagnosis to tell me that they shouldn't know since it's not a disease and also that the word might spread (everybody knows everybody, I live in a village), and also that she doesn't want him to be "labelled" since he is still a teenager that goes to school. I cannot describe the guilt that I have regarding what I've done, but I explained that I was nervous and simply answered the questions of the dispatcher. I also told her that next time she should be the one calling, not me. I understand the fact that society can be really f* up, but I meant no harm. But man, I'm feeling guilty cause in an emergency I said what I was supposed to say? I'm starting to believe I'm going delulu here.

Hello po mga ka shopee/lazada. Ask ko lang po ig ano maganda brand for cooking pots and pans. Thank you po

I'm a massive savings nerd. Here are the stupidest money mistakes I see people make.

**1. Overpaying for car insurance** The average American saves a whopping $410+ a YEAR ([source](https://betterbuck.net/content/heres-how-much-youre-actually-overpaying-for-car-insurance/?subid=Auto-Savings-Source)) when they switch auto insurance carriers - sometimes significantly more than that: I saved $1,300 this year. The reason: some carriers offer discount prices to new customers when they switch. Take 30 seconds and go to a 3rd party comparison site ([Coverage.com](https://betterbuck.net/view-nb.php?offer=bankrate&country=USA&subid=Red-Savings-v2) and[ Auto-Savings.com](https://betterbuck.net/view-nb.php?offer=otto&country=USA&subid=Red-Savings-v2) are both fine) to see if you can find cheaper rates. You’ll likely save yourself a bunch of money. Some people suggest switching every 6 months, that's a little bit overkill imo. Once a year should be fine. **2. Overpaying when you shop online** Big stores like Amazon know that no one has time to price shop through dozens of sites, so there’s often no incentive for them to offer bargain prices. I typically hate browser extensions with a fiery passion, but Capital One Shopping has always worked well for me and I'd recommend trying it ([link here](https://betterbuck.net/view-nb.php?offer=capitalone2&country=USA&subid=Red-Savings-v2)). When you shop online (on Amazon or elsewhere) it will automatically compare prices for you, and auto-apply coupon codes when possible. **3. Dealing with debt on your own** If you’ve got $10k+ in unsecured debt (think credit cards, medical bills, etc), you can ask a debt relief company to come in and negotiate it for you. You typically will save around 23% on average (after their fees). Here’s a link to a savings calculator from National Debt Relief's website if you want to see how much you could save: [link here.](https://betterbuck.net/view-nb.php?offer=ndr2&country=USA&subid=Red-Savings-v2) **4. Not having a financial advisor.** You know why so many rich people have financial advisors? It isn't because they're better at picking stocks (spoiler alert: they're not) It's because a good financial advisor will help you with all of the bizarro tax implications you never would have thought of. People with financial advisors end up making \~3% more/year thanks to better tax planning. If you don't know an advisor personally, use a 3rd party comparison site to find somebody with good reviews ([WiserAdvisor](https://betterbuck.net/view-nb.php?offer=wiser&country=USA&subid=Red-Savings-v2) is solid). **5. Using normal, low-interest savings accounts** I'm always shocked at the number of people still using garbage savings accounts that pay 0.5% (or less) a year. There are literally hundreds of banks that will pay you 8x that, usually 10x that rate [Here's a link to a bunch of options.](https://betterbuck.net/view-nb.php?offer=fiona-savings&country=USA&subid=Red-Savings-v2) -- There are tons of other things (obviously) but these are the ones that I see the most. Hope that helps.

Samsung 83” s90d WOLED vs 83” lg c4 WOLED

Hi I am thinking of buying one of these 2 TVs as they are quite similar in price. Most reviewers say the s90d is the better TV but that’s only the QD-OLED models. Does anyone have any experience with these 2 TV models and can tell me which one is better? It’s quite hard to find comparisons between the 2 for WOLED only. I usually use my tv for my ps5 and streaming services. I’ve heard that the LG c4 isn’t good for gaming and has a green tint. While I have heard good things about the s90d it’s only for the QD-OLED models.

I Don’t Know What To Do

I have long considered myself some version of trans (I would definitely say more towards being a non-binary transfeminine person) but I feel like I am lost at this point. I have been on HRT a variety of times: the first time was 100 mg of spiro with at first, 1 0.05 mg of e patch followed by a .1 patch (still single). While there was a sense of finally just being able to move on from dysphoria, a slew of issues including massive dehydration, brain fog, uncomfortable weight gain (was also on Zoloft), all of which interfered with my life to the point that when I lost my insurance and couldn’t do HRT anymore, I was relieved to at least not having to do spiro anymore. Then, I waited too long and remasculated, which alongside long COVID made me feel like COMPLETE shit. I felt like I couldn’t think, my face felt like razor blade sharp, and I just felt stressed all the time due to gender dysphoria. Nearly a year later, like 11 months at this point, I got back on E (starting with a 4 mg shot (I think)). I immediately felt insane calmness and relaxation. I felt normal, less unhinged, great sexual function that felt right, yet I also felt like it was hard to focus like I want to and over the course of a couple days I started feeling SUPER lightheaded like I was going to pass out. At the point I was also on 200 mg Wellbutrin to help me stay ALERT from long Covid and dysphoria. I even got a really bad migraine as I was coming down. After a week of that, I went back on patches and this time small dose spiro. It felt better. Then I increased dosage with two patches. Long story short, it was alright but whenever I was off the patches, I would feel a lot more focus and energetic, sometimes way more competent to do the things that I love, despite the fact that I really didn’t want to masculine my body. Then, in November, I went up to three 0.1 patches. I definitely think this increased my E (at the time in October it was only at 79 compared to 125 testosterone). I felt very much at peace albeit at a certain point I felt like my laziness got worse, which made it hard to do the projects that I really wanted to do. I ultimately went off the 25 - 75 mg of spiro in January and just did mono therapy with three patches. I found that doing one on my genitals made me feel increase in E symptoms, some VERY positive albeit with the three patches I felt like I couldn’t focus very well, got distracted very easily, and got nothing done. So then I tried just doing one patch on genitals only (I had already done this but had two other patches placed elsewhere on buttocks or abdomen). Now I’m off. There’s a lot to unpackage but today I definitely feel more cognitive in doing the things that I want to do, feeling a drive to do them, but I am SUPER irritable and I feel like sometimes I have razor blades in my chest due to the emotional pain of having to detransition. I really am not sure how to move forward, especially since I’m in the closet except to certain people, I feel like I have to be tough to survive, and I really want to continue feminization. I figured I should go here to see if anyone had any suggestions since this place feels like it might have more insight into this kind of medicine. My doc won’t do bicalutamide and suggested doing Lupron once I have higher e. I can’t see him until next month. I need to also start stockpiling but I also have had fluctuating thoughts about my hormones.

Guide to the Best Beginner Running Plans

Hi everyone! As a Doctor of Physical Therapy and running coach, I often work with beginners who are looking to start running but aren’t sure where to begin. Starting off on the right foot (pun intended!) is so important—not just for building endurance but also for avoiding injuries and staying motivated. There are a lot of great beginner-friendly running plans out there, so I wanted to share some of my favorites, including one I created myself. Whether you’re training for your first 5K or just looking to build a consistent running habit, these plans are all designed to help you progress gradually and safely. # 1. Couch to 5K (C25K) * **What It Is**: One of the most popular beginner programs out there, C25K is a structured 6-9 week plan that alternates between walking and running intervals. It gradually increases your running time until you can run a full 5K without stopping. * **Why It’s Great**: It’s easy to follow, available as an app or podcast, and perfect for beginners starting from scratch. * [**Link**](https://c25k.com/c25k_plan/) # 2. Hal Higdon’s Novice Plans * **What It Is**: Hal Higdon offers a variety of beginner plans, including ones for 5Ks and 10Ks. His programs typically include three runs per week, two cross-training days, and two rest days. I have specifically linked to the "Hal Higdon: Base Training--Novice" unfortunately it is $30. * **Why It’s Great**: These plans balance running with recovery and cross-training, making them sustainable for beginners who want to avoid burnout or injury. * [**Link**](https://www.trainingpeaks.com/training-plans/running/tp-15998/hal-higdon-base-training-novice) # 3. Run-Walk Method (Jeff Galloway) * **What It Is**: This method alternates between short intervals of running and walking (e.g., run for 1 minute, walk for 2 minutes). You gradually increase the running intervals over time while keeping walking breaks as needed. * **Why It’s Great**: It reduces the risk of overuse injuries and is highly adaptable for all fitness levels. * [**Link**](https://jeffgalloway.com/dl/galloway-tp.pdf): It is a lengthy read. It's on Chapter 6. # 4. My Zero to 5K Plan * **What It Is**: I created this plan as a simple, beginner-friendly program that focuses on building endurance through gradual progression over several weeks. Like other plans, it alternates between walking and running intervals but also emphasizes proper pacing and recovery strategies to prevent injury. * **Why It’s Great**: I designed this plan with injury prevention in mind (physical therapist here!), so it’s perfect for those who might be worried about joint pain or overdoing it early on. Plus, it’s flexible enough to fit into busy schedules with just three sessions per week. * [**Link**](https://stayathomept.com/zero-to-5k-training-plan-pdf/) # 5. Runna App * **What It Is**: This app creates personalized training plans based on your fitness level and goals. It provides detailed pacing instructions and works well for treadmill runners or those who want more structure in their training. * **Why It’s Great**: The customization makes it ideal if you’re looking for something tailored specifically to your needs. * **Link**: Search “Runna App” in your app store! # How to Choose the Right Plan All of these programs are great options—it really depends on what fits your current fitness level, schedule, and goals. Here are some tips for choosing the best one for you: * **If you’re completely new to running:** Couch to 5K or my [Zero to 5K plan](https://stayathomept.com/zero-to-5k-training-plan-pdf/) are excellent starting points. * **If you want flexibility with walking breaks:** The Run-Walk Method is a fantastic choice. * **If you’re eyeing a specific race distance (like a 10K):** Hal Higdon’s Novice Plans are great. * **If you want something personalized:** The Runna App could be worth exploring. # Final Thoughts Starting a running journey can feel overwhelming at first, but having a structured plan makes all the difference. Whichever program you choose, remember that consistency is key—and don’t be afraid to repeat weeks if needed! Also, listen to your body; rest days are just as important as workout days when it comes to building strength and endurance. If you have any questions about these plans or need advice on getting started, feel free to ask in the comments! I’d love to hear what has worked for others in this community too—what was your first training plan? Happy running!
